Teenage Casting Call

Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010

Dreamworks Studios & Disney (there’s something I never thought I’d say) are currently casting for teenage extras for a sci-fi film shoot in Florida.

Dreamworks Studios and Walt Disney Pictures are currently in production on the Sci-Fi feature film ‘I am Number Four.’  The extras casting director for the film in Florida is holding an open casting call seeking Florida residents who are 18 and over who can pass for high school students.

The film is based on the HarperCollins novel of the same name written by authors Jobie Hughes and James Frey. The novel is the first book in a planned six-book series. Executive producers are Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay. The release date is scheduled for February 18, 2011.

Shooting the Shooter

Shooting the Shooter

More shooting for Light yesterday. We spent about 10 hours, in and about Mr. Tim’s house. Excellent work, as usual, from our veteran teens, Christian Kilian & Danny Rawley, and Rick Michaels proved why he got so much work over in Miami. Great work also from the indomitable Michael Bey (NO, not THAT Michael Bay), his son, Steven Ruiz-Bey, UFTA member Rob Beauchesne & Keegan Shayne. We accomplished quite a bit. We’re back the first week of the new year.
