Starlight In the News

Friday, March 20th, 2009

Well, we’re just 24 hours away from taking the “stage” at the Santa Barbara Clubhouse Grill & Bar in Cape Coral for the premiere performance of “Clubhouse Murders” interactive comedy murder mystery dinner theatre show.  The Fort Myers News-Press Gulf Coasting was kind enough to publicize the event for us.  The cost is only $40.00 per person for dinner and the show and there are still some tables available.  Call 239-574-7050 for reservations or directions to the show.

And our own Marty Wisher was interviewed for the online newspaper, The Examiner, about “Light,” Starlight Productions, and her work as an actor.  Check out the article, along with a few others about acting in Southwest Florida from former United Film & Television Artists President Deb Ford.

Bo Peep & Mrs. Claus pose with Santa

Bo Peep & Mrs. Claus pose with Santa

Our week started on Tuesday with our performance of “For Whom The Southern Belle Tolls” and “Off The Tracks” improv at the Foulds Theatre with the OssLin Agency folks.  Then Thursday night, Starlight did a quick showcase for the European Business Council at the International Holiday Fair in downtown Cape Coral.  Then Friday and Saturday, we promoted Starlight at both the International Holiday Fair and the Comcast Holiday Festival of Lights (just one street over), both in downtown Cape Coral.  We finished the week by again joining OssLin Agency on the Foulds Theatre stage, debuting our Christmas murder mystery, “A Holiday Recipe for Murder,” followed by the kids performing “Ebony Scrooge,” directed by OssLin’s Aaron Jackson, from NBC’s California Dreams.  This week, we’ll be performing “A Holiday Recipe for Murder” for the fine residents, families and staff of Manor Care in Fort Myers.  Check out some of our other photos below.
