Thanks to the dozens of people who came out and supported Starlight Productions at the premiere of our first feature film, Light! It was great to get most of the cast reunited and see the reactions from people all across Southwest Florida as the images played out on screen. Starlight Productions is looking for an adult male to fill a role in our upcoming murder mystery, “A Death in the Family.”
The role is Hodgson, the Barton Family Lawyer. He is brash and unapologetic – think “Boss Hogg” from the Dukes of Hazzard TV show.
Interested parties can e-mail their headshot and resume to Casting@starlightstudioproductions.com
We will be casting for an August performance date, but more dates and projects are on the horizon.

Starlight Productions will be debuting their first Christmas/holiday-themed comedy murder mystery, “A Holiday Recipe For Murder,” Sunday, December 7th, at 3pm at The Foulds Theatre.
The North Pole is being wiped out by a mysterious flu created by evil mastermind Claude Von Streudel. As Santa’s top elf, Elvin, works on a cure to save them, Mrs. Claus depends upon replacements sent from the North Star employment agency to save Christmas and stop Von Streudel’s plan to take over the holiday and the world.
In addition, some of the fine folks from the OssLin Agency will be joining us on stage, performing their show, “Ebony,” immediately after. All this for a mere $15/person.
We invite you to come out and enjoy an afternoon of holiday arts entertainment before things get too busy this December!
The Foulds Theatre is located in the Alliance of the Arts building at 10099 McGregor Blvd, behind the Midpoint Bridge and across from the YMCA in Fort Myers.

Marilyn & Her Bodyguards; Bodyguards supplied by The OssLin Agency
Starlight’s very own Marty Wisher was on hand for last weekends’ Downtown Art Walk in Fort Myers, as none other than the iconic Marilyn Monroe.
We’d like to thank the Fort Myers News-Press‘ Gulf Coasting Live for not only covering the event, but making sure our girl was a part of the memories. Check out their photo gallery here.
Happenings Magazine also snapped some shots – you can see them here.
