A Death in the Family – Saturday at Nirvana

Monday, August 9th, 2010

Starlight Productions is proud to present another one of our original murder mysteries, “A Death in the Family,” this Saturday, August 14th at 7:30pm at Nirvana Indian Fusion off College Parkway.

Along with the usual suspects, we will be introducing audiences to two new actors in the Starlight stable, Kathleen Baldini as the dutiful daughter Mimi and Gary Obeldobel as the family’s faithful pettifogger Hodgson.

And it wouldn’t be dinner theatre without the dinner!  The chef at Nirvana will be providing a buffet of choice Indian fusion foods for your enjoyment.  At $40.00 per person, it’s the most affordable dinner and live show in Souhwest Florida, and the entertainment is second to none.

Come join us and play detective and you might just go home with the prize!  We’ll see you all there!

Murder Is Fun!

Wednesday, October 1st, 2008

Happy October! September ended fabulously.  We premiered “A Death in the Family” at the EBC (European Business Council).  It was delightfully received.  And several companies came up to us afterwards about booking us in the future.  Fabulous!

I was so proud of Kaley-Ann.  She was prepared, professional, and looked awesome.  The whole cast was nervous.  But we were spot on!  Can’t wait for our next event.

Death in the Family Cast

Tonight we did our first performance of Death in the Family, written and directed by Marty Wisher, for the European Business Council (EBC).

It was very well received. lots of laughter, lots of applause. Everyone at the dinner party thoroughly enjoyed the night of entertainment and the whole cast did a superb job and had a good time doing it.

Thanks especially to our good friend, John Nicolette for helping us out at the last minute with a much-needed role.

Check below for some various photos of the cast at the event.
