Just wanted to take a quick moment and point out some of the additions we’ve made to the website over the past few days. We’ve added a tab for our very affordable Entertainment Services, which also has a page that details the Murder Mysteries we currently offer, as well as information about “Off The Tracks,” our Improv Comedy entertainment, and Endorsements from our past clients. We’ve also added a page that details our Production Services, with charges for talent and film crew in a day or two as well.
We’re updating a list of our Characters, including Star Wars-related & Celebrity Impersonators
We’ve also updated our Contact Us page with e-mail and phone numbers. Please utilize them to get a hold of us to book your upcoming office get-together or take advantage of our actors, celebrity impersonators, and experienced film crew.
Keep checking in to see how work on the independent film Light is going as well as the other activities and services we provide here at Starlight Productions.

Danny Rawley, Corey Stockbridge & Christian Killian as Jake, Josh & Lucas in front of The Dot-Mobile
We finished shooting the missing pieces from scenes 14 & 21 last week, as well as getting the extra bits and pick-ups of additional footage for various other scenes in and around Jake’s Room. We also shot the material of Josh picking the boys up and dropping them off after the pool party, utilizing the car we had with the most character, my late Aunt Dot‘s 1981 Toyota Tercel, complete with bullet holes and other indicia, courtesy of our friends at Hardley Dangerous Illusions. Danny, Christian and Teresa were excellent as always, and Josh did a fine job in his first on-film performance.
Take a moment to check out the photos of the shoot in the gallery below.

Another grueling evening of shooting. Lots of time in prep equals a few minutes on screen, but every bit counts. Not too much set prep needed this time, thanks to Marty’s having the rooms (and food!) already prepared. An extra special thanks to the ladies of our film… Kristin Callahan, Taylor Nemetz, and Julie Arensman did a bang-up job portraying Kaylee, Tori and Kaylee’s mom, Celia. And thanks to Christi Pause for helping us out by supplying the off-screen voice of CD’s mom. And of course, the election coverage kept us busy between takes.

Starlight Storefront
With things well under way on our latest project, the science-fiction film Light, currently shooting, we are always grateful for some extra exposure. Our friend Karen Servis, a member of the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce was kind enough to offer us a storefront on her website, UWalkTheMall.com, the Mall that’s virtually real. So now, in addition to the website and our personal connections with folks, we have a presence in the Mall that will hopefully bring people our way.
We also highly recommend Karen’s site to anyone who is looking for a virtual store – she offers anything and everything you need to make your store stand out in a rapidly growing sea of online commerce. Go see her today!

Marty with her teen stars: Christian Kilian as Lucas & Danny Rawley as Jake
Well, we spent the better part of 8 hours on set in Jake’s Room on Thursday, October 16th. We managed to get half of scene 3 and almost all of scenes 14 & 21 completed. We even had a visit from an old friend – Caleb Williams, the star of Grill’s War, a Star Wars fan film trilogy.
Danny Rawley and Christian Kilian were fantastic as Jake & Lucas. Both did very well and took direction like professionals. And Teresa Cobb was spot-on as the mother of a teenage genius (wonder how she pulled that one off…)
One more day to finish and get pick-up shots and we’re set for that. Next up, either a Riley scene or the birth scene that starts the film. We added a some shots of the film work, as well as the cast & crew fooling around between takes. Making movies is hard work, but fun too! Light is written and directed by Marty Wisher.

Tomorrow is our first shoot date for Light. ABC is willing to take a look at the project. Needless to say, we are psyched!
Some very bad & very sad things took place this week too (I won’t write about them yet, another day perhaps, those who know, know why). But myself and crew, we are focusing on the positive. And we are ready to rock the world.
